Why we're building this

Most people leave behind a quiet mess.

Not because they don't care — because nobody told them what to write down. The accounts, the passwords, the location of the deed, the wish to be cremated under a willow tree, the unsent letter to a daughter.

When the day comes, the people they loved most are left to dig through drawers and emails and old phones, often for years. Some of it is found. Most of it isn't.

Heirloom is a gentle, encrypted place to put it all down — at your own pace, in your own words. So that when the day comes, the people who loved you find what you wanted them to find.

We're building this carefully, slowly, and with deep respect for the weight of what we're holding. We hope it helps.
